NFL Week 2 – Two Over/Unders To Watch

Baltimore vs. San Diego -3 – 4pm EST

Chargers host (1-0) Ravens today at 4pm. Both teams have high expectations for the 2009 season. Coming off wins against some of the worst teams in the AFC, they will each be facing a much tougher opponent this week. Despite star running back LT being sidelined, San Diego continues to be favourites in this one.  The Baltimore D should have a big day, but look for Gates to play a big role in picking up first downs and TD’s. The ball should be on the ground for the majority of the game, pounding out yards. Possibly a low scoring battle –under 40.5.

Pittsburgh vs. Chicago +3 – 4pm EST

Bears host (1-0) Steelers today at 4pm. The Bears lost a heartbreaker against rivals Green Bay last week, a game that featured four interceptions from star quarterback Jay Cutler. Do not expect a similar performance in his Chicago home opener today. The world champions should be concerned with the run game as well. Stopping Forte will have to be a priority, while getting the ball in Parkers hands is key to their success. Both defences will be without their stars, Polamalu (doubtful) and Urlacher (out for the season). Expect the offences to be clicking a bit more than usual today and this one could get high scoring – over 37.5.
